Commercial imports of product categories listed under Ministerial Decree No. 43/2016 are only permitted if produced by, or sourced from, a foreign factory/trademark owner registered in GOEIC's importer/exporter register (the "factory registration" regime). Applies to many consumer-goods categories; the current product list was not enumerated in this pass -- check GOEIC's register for a specific product before relying on this. Came into full effect 16 March 2016.
